What timeshare is

Ownership of a timeshare means owning your own holiday home, but just for the weeks you need each year. It works in units of a week and you can own as many weeks as you wish. Many people with holiday homes only use them 2-3 weeks per year, yet have all the overheads of rates, insurance, maintenance etc, plus the security risks of unoccupied premises, all year. The capital involved in owning a holiday home of the luxury standard of the Okawa Bay timeshare is, of course, quite considerable, and most people have better things for their money to do.

Timeshare means a sharing of the costs, on a "per week owned" basis, with full management provided, so that your holidays are truly "walk-in / walk-out", with not a worry for you for the rest of the year.
At Okawa Bay the week runs from Friday 3.30 pm to the next Friday 10 am
Servicing of the condominiums takes place weekly between 10 and 3 on Fridays.

Just like owning your own holiday home, you can let family or friends use it instead of you, rent it out, or you can swap it for a holiday almost anywhere around the world through the RCI and Dial-an-Exchange exchange systems, which are outlined on a separate page.
