Okawa Lake Resort Timeshare
Amora Okawa Bay Lake Resort is a top class timeshare resort and tourist hotel complex, on the tranquil shores of Lake Rotoiti, just 17 kms north east of Rotorua. The resort is affiliated to Resort Condominiums International (RCI) and Dial-an-exchange exchange companies, and thus provides members with access to over 4000 resorts worldwide, and other benefits.
Your condominium is your holiday home for the time you own, and whether you have 1 person or the maximum of 6 people to sleep is up to you, with no per head charges at all. Each of the 15 units is 1012 sq. ft., has upstairs a queen master bedroom with tv, and a twin bedroom with 2 roll outs, and one bathroom with doors into each bedroom, and downstairs a large dining and lounge area with great lake views, a full kitchen , and a smaller bathroom, all in an attractive and timeless colonial style of architecture.
Everything is provided except for your food and drinks. There is a full supply of linen, crockery, and kitchen equipment for 6 people. Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave and Sky TV plus DVD player are in each condominium, and there is parking for 2 cars behind. All units have lovely lake views, over expansive lawns and gardens- truly relaxing! Just bring your food and clothes, plus maybe a good book and a fishing rod!
There is free wireless internet in the timeshare units, and a swap library at the hotel for extra reading needs.
There is a definite "club" feeling about timeshare, with people mixing easily. If solitude or privacy is your thing, however, no-one will be disturbing you in your retreat.
Okawa Bay Lake Resort is noted for its restful atmosphere, and the spaciousness of the grounds. The condominiums are tastefully decorated in restful colours. There is a heated pool onsite, and natural mineral hot pools in a magnificent lakeside setting, and accessible only by boat, just down the lake, and with the trip there subsidized for timesharers.
The on-site Amora Hotel restaurant (with a special dinner offer for timesharers) and bar are available to timesharers, as is the tennis court and gym.
For boating enthusiasts there is a boat ramp and free marina berth for your stay, while there is a waterski lane right beside the resort, and of course, the famous trout fishing of the region right on your doorstep!
A subsidized cruise launch runs trips to the hot pools according to demand.
There are free kayaks, paddle boats and mountain bikes also.
